Objetivos: To understand how sports business works as a complex ecosystem, as well as the role that key stakeholders have within it. For example, global sports organisations, local teams, individual athletes, venues and facilities, sponsors, media outlets and startups. To explore and analyse different sports management areas and sports industry sub-sectors and learn how interdisciplinary strategies are applied effectively to all. To study in depth the most successful sports management strategies, visions and tools. To identify and understand the key 21st century trends in the sports industry and look into the various innovations and disruptions taking place through entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship in the sports business.

Every Master’s programme consists of 10 modules (5 per semester), each worth 4 credits plus a thesis (academic research or business plan) of 20 credits. For each module, students spend 18 hours in the classroom over 6 weeks. The semester is split into two blocks: Block 1 (first 6 weeks + presentation week) and Block 2 (second 6 weeks + presentation week). Each module is taught and graded by one teacher, before going through the moderation process conducted by the academic department.
